25th National Day Celebration in SRLMT

The school started the day with the hoisting and singing of the National Anthem.

Then, the reading of the "doa"


After the "doa", then the pupils sang two patriotic songs.

while the boys were forming the number 5
They were forming the number 25 which means Brunei Darussalam has been independence for 25 years.

Field Trip at Tasek Merimbun Museum: Part I

The school had planned and organised a school trip to the museum at the Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park and then have an activity at the Tasek Merimbun. So let the pictures do the explaination of what happened on that day.

Its a real big Dragon Fly!!! nope, just kidding. Its just a model. A very cool model!!!


Cikgu Dang Pulot show her expertise to the pupils as well as teachers on how to play the very traditional guling tangan made by wood. It was harmonic. As our gb said, it sound like the chinese lion dance..hehehe...(he was just kidding around with his staff) (^_^)

Before we finished our tour around the mueseum, we had a group picture with the museum staff.

To all the schools in Brunei, we recomend to visit the Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park as it is very informative,very refreshing, new experience for all and its fun!!!

A Field Trip in Tasek Merimbun:Part II

After the visit at the Tasek Merimbun museum, we went down to Tasek Merimbun Balai Raya and have our activities there.

The teachers gave instructions and gave out activities to do. But before they do their activities...

...the pupils had their refreshments.

While the pupils had their refreshments, we were visited by our ppkdt2 and officers from Tutong II

After the refreshments, we continue the day by doing activities provided by the teacher.

Overall, it was a success field trip organised by the school and we would like to say thank you to the friendly staff of Tasek Merimbun Musuem for having us. We would also like to say thank you to our officers for visiting us at the Tasek Merimbun.

The Amazing Race SRLMT Edition!!!

Below are some pictures of an activity conducted by the lower primary teachers where the pupils find the clues, answered the questions and moved on to the next clues. It was pretty fun to see them rushing away here and there to find the clues and answering the questions.

Chat in English Programme for Year 6

This is a programme where pupils chat using the proper english with their friends in other school. It integrates english subject with ICT. Some of the purposes of this programme are sharing ideas, experiences and fostering friendships.

These are the two pupils that are involved in the programme. SRLMT are paired with SR Bukit and SR Benutan.

Science Powerpoint Project Presentation

The Science Powerpoint Project Presentation meeting was held on 09.02.2009 on Monday.

Our ppkdt2 Cikgu Abd Kani kicked start the meeting with his welcoming speech and explaining the purpose of the Science powerpoint programme. In his speech was that through this programme, it can achieve a student centred learning, as a medium of learning and as an integration of learning and teaching science through ict.

These are the collaborated chairman from Cluster 1, 2 and 6. SR Bukit Udal (cluster 1) will handle for Science powerpoint presentation year 4, while SR AR Tanjong Maya (cluster 2) for year 5 and SR Long Mayan (cluster 6) for year 6.
